SIX WAY PLUS ONE ROUTER
Unit allows any number of the six stereo signal sources to be routed to air.
If no source is selected, unit automatically reverts to a stand by input ( sustaining service).
Each studio is provided with an illuminated panel mounting latching press switch
to connect studio to 'air'supplied fitted in individual plastic enclosures.
Unit provides unity gain and is designed to work with inputs of standard 0dB (PPM4 )
input impedance to V.E. mixer stage 10K.Output unbalanced to drive into 600R or greater.
Alternative model available with transformer isolated balanced output to drive into 600R.
An auxillary 24 volt at 5m/a max. switched feed is available to drive external opto-couplers
for mains powered 'ON AIR' signs etc.If required an alternative unit fitted with
six integral opto-couplers is available to drive mains powered signs etc.which are
not fitted with integral opto-couplers.(max current 1 amp at 240 volt).
ALL VERSIONS MOUNTED IN A.B.S. ENCLOSURE SIZE 380 x 300 x 120 mm.

STUDIO TO AIR ROUTER SYSTEM

 

THE EASY WAY TO CONTROL OUTPUT FROM ALL STUDIOS

 
       
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Logic control enables either one or more studios to be put on air at the same timebut only with
the authorisation of the 'ON AIR' studio. Each studio control unit incorporates a visual display
which will instantly advise the presenter of the studio, if it is 'ON AIR'? At the same time the visual
display will indicate if a second studio is feeding the system or a studio requires to be allowed access.
Each studio or signal source is provided with a four button control panel
which connects to the master controllerand can be fitted in most types of mixing desk.
Panels supplied fitted in individual plastic enclosures.
 
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
If system is powered up and AUTHORISATION button illuminated the system is ready for use.
If no button except AUTHORISATION is illuminated the studio may now claim the station output
by pressing the STATION button. This will cause the STUDIO button to become illuminated
plus STATION buttons on all other terminals. Your studio is now 'ON AIR'
This will cause all authorising buttons to flash. Identification of the studio requesting access
If you wish to obtain access to the on air circuit already being used by a studio,
you must press STATION button on your console followed by REQUEST button.

If the 'ON AIR' studio accepts your request they will press their AUTHORISATION button
which will cause your STUDIO button to illuminate. You are now 'On Air'. Only an 'ON AIR'
studio is able to authorise access to the transmission circuit. Non 'on air' AUTHORISATION
buttons will not function.To take studio off air press STUDIO button.
MECHANICAL DATA
Master unit with integral mains power supply installed in A.B.S. enclosure. Four L.E.D.s.
on front of case indicate which sources are live to air. Audio inputs and output via X.L.R.connectors.
Control and signal via integral terminal blocks. Mains input via I.E.C.connector.

SUSTAINING SERVICE ROUTER
Allows selection of one studio or both, but if neither studio is on air a standby source is automatically
selected.Each studio provided with illuminated panel mounting latching press switch and L.E.D.
indicator which is illuminated if adjoining studio is on air. Fitted in small plastic enclosures.
 
Unit provides unity gain and is designed to work with inputs of 0bB input impedance to
