Our "REPORTER" series of outside broadcast units was launched to meet modern day client requirements Continuing with a policy of listening to our users and keeping up with the latest technical trends, (especially in the use of mobile phones) has resulted in the "2000 REPORTER". Model has all of facilities found in our previous units plus use with a mobile phones.We also took oportunity to add some new additional technical facilities requested by our existing users.
The result greater flexibility and userbility
 
FACILITIES:-

INPUTS:- Two Mic. balanced 150-600R (sens.-35 to -82dB)

One Line level 10K ub.input (sens. +20dB) to-10dB).
Each input channel fitted with rotary sensitivity control,
P.F.L. monitor switch and slider fader.
METER:- V.U.meter shows signal drive to line
or depressing battery test button meter reads battery condition.
AUTO / MANUAL CONTROL:- switch in auto position limits maximum gain,
set by rotary pot This facility prevents listeners picking up
excessive back-ground noise during broadcast commentaries, also minimises
the possibility of P.A. feed back when the unit is driving a public address system.
MONITOR FACILITIES:- Provides pre-fade listening on any input
when appropriate switch is activated, If no switch activated
circuit will continue to monitor main input/output signal.
HEADPHONE FACILITIES:- Signals from above monitor system feed
two independent headphone amplifiers (8-16R or 150-200R)
(please specify when ordering), each amplifier is fitted with own
rotary gain control, signal also feeds output socket for P.A. system, recorder etc.
OUTPUT FACILITIES:-provide two way link between various mobile and
fixed telephone systems plus ability to work into non powered land line circuits.
Key pad generates standard D.T.M.F. telecom line signal tones
plus audio and visual ringing indicators.

This device helps protect the telephone system
in event of an equipment failure causing a dangerous voltage to be fed to telecom line.
The unit contains devices which are activated if a voltage between line and ground exceeds
the correct level, they also in turn place short circuit from line to ground protecting telecom
line and causing two integral fuses to be activated which isolates telecom line from the fault.
